Every drawing starts with a pencil sketch. We outline a semicircular line - the body of the bird will be located on it. Then we outline with the help of a circle - the head, and with the help of an oval - the body with a woodpecker's wing. We make sketches of the wings, tail, legs and part of the tree on which the bird sits.

We draw the details - the eye, beak, tail and legs - more carefully. We connect everything with a smooth line and erase the extra construction lines with the help of an eraser.
