Therefore, well-known universities are opening networks of branches throughout the country so that all worthy student candidates can realize themselves. The Cheboksary branch of the Russian Cooperation University serves as such an example. This article examines the university as a whole and this unit specifically, revealing the features of admission, training and choice of specialization.

History of the university

Today, the cooperative institute has crossed the century mark. In 2012, he turned 100 years old. It began its history as a school of cooperation at the Shanyavsky Moscow People's University after the first Russian revolution. Even then, having everything necessary to be considered a higher educational institution, it graduated highly qualified specialists in the field of cooperation: managers, accountants, clerks.

Today, the Cooperative Institute is the only educational institution in the world in the field of consumer cooperation. Unique thanks to its special training programs, distinguished by its specificity and the quality of the knowledge taught, the university consistently occupies high positions in the rankings of universities in the country and abroad.

Infrastructure of the educational institution

The Russian University of Cooperation is represented by a wide branch network throughout Russia. In total, 1 head university, 18 branches throughout the country, as well as 7 representative offices in different cities have been opened. Among the branches is CHKI RUK, that is, the Cheboksary branch, which will be discussed later.

The branch has a fairly extensive structure that ensures the optimal functioning of the educational institution, the full implementation of educational programs, as well as active student life. The cooperative institute includes a library, a practice and employment department, centers for additional specialized education, information technology and research, a youth policy center, and a sports and fitness complex. In addition, the institute has a college that trains specialists with secondary vocational education, as well as departments for postgraduate, master's and distance learning services.

student life

The Cooperative Institute also supports the activities of several student organizations: a legal clinic and a literary and creative club.

  • The student legal clinic was created by decision of the Educational Council as one of the forms of training. It involves the provision of legal services to the population free of charge. Thus, students adapt to a professional environment, gain experience and pass industrial practice, necessary for full learning.
  • The literary and creative club "Parus" is designed to attract young people to literary life, teach them how to correctly express their thoughts and convey them to the public. Club members regularly publish their works in the institute's printed publication, Student Bulletin.

Knowledge of the system of cooperation with government agencies will help to properly conduct business relations in the public sector. procurement, auctions and bidding. The doors of many organizations with prestigious, highly paid positions open for graduates who graduate from the Cheboksary Cooperative Institute.

Rector of the Cheboksary Cooperative Institute

The activities of any higher educational institution, its success, the qualifications of the teaching staff, the provision of material resources and many other important aspects largely depend on the rector. It is he who guides the adoption of most decisions; the further development of the educational institution, its status, and position in the rankings depend on him. Therefore, it is worth saying a few words about the person holding this position. From May 2006 to the present day, this position has been occupied by Doctor of Historical Sciences - Andreev Valery Vitalievich. Behind the back of the rector of the Cheboksary Institute of Cooperation are several higher educations: the historical, philological and law faculties of the Chuvash University named after Ulyanov, as well as graduate school at the Russian Academy under the President of the Russian Federation. Valery Vitalievich is the author of twenty-five scientific works. Thanks to him, the Cheboksary Institute has been coping with its functions perfectly for more than 10 years and at the same time occupies high positions in the rankings of Russian universities.
