The recipe for Anthill cake made from cookies is simply a godsend for novice cooks and for those who do not like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. This dessert can be prepared not only for a holiday, but also on an ordinary weekday. Tasty, soft and very sweet, anyone who tries it will like it. Little ones with a sweet tooth will be especially delighted.

How did the cake come about?

There are several versions of the origin of the Anthill cake recipe. According to one of them, the idea was borrowed from the oriental delicacy chak-chak. According to another, the basis for the cake was the once popular American “meat grinder cake.”

Some argue that the treat appeared in the era of Soviet shortages, when it was not so easy to find the necessary products on half-empty store shelves and housewives had to be “original” in order to please their family and guests with something tasty.

Be that as it may, the recipe for Anthill cake can rightfully be called folk. There are so many versions of the original recipe that it is now difficult to say which was the first. Each housewife has her own secrets and tricks. They have one thing in common - affordable ingredients, ease of preparation and amazing results.

According to the classic recipe, the Anthill cake is made from homemade cookies and soaked in cream based on condensed milk, butter and chocolate. However, the delicacy can easily be made from store-bought cookies, which will greatly simplify the preparation process.

The no-bake Anthill cake recipe made from cookies with condensed milk is perhaps the most popular today. Any cookie will do, as long as it crumbles well. The fat content of butter should be at least 72.5%. It is highly undesirable to replace butter with margarine and spread, otherwise the taste of the finished dish may suffer.

Making a quick dessert

Having prepared all the ingredients, we proceed directly to preparing the “Anthill” cake with cookies and condensed milk.

  1. First you need to grind the cookies. This can be done in two ways: using a blender or placing it in a plastic bag and rolling it out with a rolling pin.
  2. Transfer the resulting crumbs into a large container.
  3. Add condensed milk, a couple of tablespoons of sour cream to the softened butter and beat the mass well with a mixer or blender. Thanks to sour cream, the cream is more delicate and light.
  4. Peel the walnuts from shells and membranes and fry in a frying pan or in the oven. You need to fry without oil, stirring constantly, until a slight nutty smell appears. Then grind them with a rolling pin or in a blender.
  5. Transfer half of the nut crumbs to the chopped liver, add whipped condensed milk there. Mix well.
  6. Place the mixture in a heap on a dish, forming an anthill.
  7. Sprinkle the cake with the remaining nuts and poppy seeds, as in the photo.
  8. Leave the dessert for several hours at room temperature so that it is well soaked.

The process is quite lengthy, so it is better to prepare the boiled milk in advance or use store-bought boiled condensed milk.
  • If you want to make the cake less cloying, prepare “Anthill” from cookies without condensed milk. This version also has a right to exist, and some housewives prefer to soak cookies with curd or butter cream. It turns out very tasty.
  • Dried fruits will give the cake an unusual taste. Soak well-washed raisins, prunes and dried apricots (100 g each) in cool water for half an hour, then cut into small cubes and add to the cookies. Leave half of the dried fruits to decorate the finished cake.
  • Change the taste of the cream by adding a couple of teaspoons of liqueur or cognac.

  2. Throw the corn sticks into the resulting butter-condensed milk mass and mix with the condensed milk so that they are covered with this mass. By the way, it’s better to take sticks that are not very large – it’s more convenient. But in principle, you can use what you have.
  3. Next, place the well-coated sticks in a heap on a large plate, forming an “anthill.” We put it in the refrigerator so that the sticks are soaked and the condensed milk itself hardens. This will take approximately 2 hours.

  5. And now you know how to prepare a delicious and sweet dessert for your family without spending a day cooking. I'm sure this recipe will come in handy more than once.
  1. We add soft butter to boiled condensed milk, and not vice versa.
  2. You can use ready-made condensed milk – store-bought, good quality.
  3. You can cook regular condensed milk.
  4. You can cook it yourself from regular cow's milk (and that's exactly what I did). To do this, I mixed 1 liter of sugar with three liters of full-fat homemade milk, brought it to a boil and threw in a little soda - on the tip of a knife. I left it to cook for 1 hour. Then she added soda again (the same amount on the tip of a knife) and left it to cook for another 3 hours. At first, the future condensed milk is light, but then, as it boils, it thickens and changes color. The result is natural, tasty boiled condensed milk, which has a rich toffee taste, without preservatives, thickeners or other chemicals. By the way, from three liters of milk you get about 2 liters of the finished product - condensed milk.

Bon appetit!

This incredibly simple dessert can be made by anyone. Even if you have no energy left after a long day of work, you can always find a minute to build an “Anthill”. The Anthill cake should stand in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours to soak. Keep this in mind if you are preparing dessert at a certain time.

It will take 15 minutes to prepare and the ingredients listed in this recipe will yield 5 servings.

  • cookies – 400 gr.;
  • banana – 1 pc.;
  • condensed milk – 150 gr.;
  • butter – 180 gr.;
  • food poppy – 50 gr.;
  • powdered sugar;
  • jam for serving.

For this simple dessert you will need dry sweet shortbread cookies. Usually a pack contains 200 g, that is, two standard packages are just enough. Cookies can be taken with any flavor, depending on this the taste of the cake will change.

We transfer the cookies into a thick plastic bag, crush them with a rolling pin so that about half of the mass is fine crumbs, and the rest is large pieces.

Transfer the shortbread crumbs and pieces into a bowl, add the banana cut into small cubes. You can also add roasted walnuts or hazelnuts, sesame seeds, raisins and any dried fruits to your taste to this cake.

Mix softened butter and condensed milk at room temperature in a blender until smooth. The cream will turn out to be quite liquid, so you want it to soak the ingredients well.

Thick cream can be made from boiled condensed milk and butter, but it takes longer to soak the cake.

Mix the ingredients so that all the crumbs are covered with cream, put it in the refrigerator for a while so that the butter in the cream hardens slightly.

Place a mound of anthills on a serving plate.

Sprinkle the cake with edible poppy seeds and put it in the refrigerator for several hours, or better yet, overnight.

Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with fruit jam.

Recipe 2: Anthill cake with condensed milk without baking

Sometimes there are situations when you really want something sweet, but you have neither the desire nor the time to bother with baking. Of course, you can go to the nearest store and buy everything you need there. But you can do it differently. For example, prepare a sweet cake without baking, so to speak, in a hurry. Believe me, it tastes practically no different from the one you need to spend an hour on. And it cooks incredibly quickly.

To prepare it, you only need to have on hand nuts, regular cookies, butter and boiled condensed milk. Any cookie that does not have a filling will do; you can use regular shortbread in packaging, such as “For tea”, “Baked milk” and others. It lasts longer and can be bought for future use so that it is always in the house if you need it urgently.

  • Cookies 600 g
  • Butter 200 g
  • Boiled condensed milk 400 g
  • Chocolate for decoration
  • Walnuts 100 g

Place cookies and nuts in a blender bowl.

Grind them for one minute. It is not necessary that you get a homogeneous mass. If the cake contains larger pieces of cookies or nuts, it will be even tastier and more beautiful.

Then transfer the condensed milk into a blender, add softened butter to it and beat everything together.

All that remains is to connect everything.

With wet hands, form the sweet mixture into a cake in the shape of an anthill.

You can sprinkle it with grated chocolate to make it more beautiful.

Now you need to send it to harden in the refrigerator. This is a mandatory condition. Until it hardens, it will not be a cake, but just a sweet mass that will disintegrate as soon as you want to cut a piece. You will have to wait about three hours. But then you can enjoy the taste. The Anthill cake looks especially beautiful when cut.

Recipe 3: Anthill - cake with nuts without baking

for the cake:

  • cookies – 500 g;
  • walnuts – 1 cup;
  • butter – 100 g;
  • boiled condensed milk – 500 g;

for glaze:

  • kefir – 50 ml;
  • cocoa - 2 table. spoons;
  • sugar – 1-2 table. spoons;
  • butter – 70 g.

For the anthill cake (a recipe made from cookies and condensed milk), any shortbread cookie (for example, baked milk flavored) is suitable. If you want to reduce the calorie content of the cake a little, try using long cookies. It is necessary to chop the cookies and place them in a deep bowl. It is best to break the cookies by hand into small 1-1.5 cm pieces. But, if you want to speed up the process a little, you can use a rolling pin, with which you can knead the cookies on a table or cutting board. This will produce much more crumbs than in the first method, and the structure of the cake will be finer-grained. The nuts also need to be crushed (either by hand or with a rolling pin). It is desirable that the size of the pieces of cookies and nuts be approximately the same. Mix nuts with cookies.

The butter must be taken out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature by the time the cake is cooked. Add softened butter and boiled condensed milk to the mixture of nuts and cookies. Mix everything well.

The resulting dough should be placed in a heap on a flat dish and compacted thoroughly with a spoon or hands, after covering the cake with cling film. This completes the cake making process. All that remains is to cool it and you can serve it. As you can see, the recipe for anthill cookies with condensed milk is very simple.

But what kind of cake can do without decoration? You can sprinkle the finished cake with poppy seeds, multi-colored powder or grated chocolate. To give the anthill a more festive look, we suggest pouring chocolate glaze on top. And to add an interesting sourness to the taste of the cake, you can prepare the glaze with kefir. To do this, pour kefir into a small saucepan, add cocoa, butter, sugar and stir well. Place the saucepan over low heat and, stirring constantly, heat the mixture until the sugar and butter dissolve.

The prepared chocolate glaze must be cooled (you can put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes). Then pour it onto the formed cake. You can sprinkle it with coconut shavings on top, so it will look even more elegant. So the anthill (recipe with photo) made from cookies is ready. The last step is to put the cake in the refrigerator and wait 10-12 hours until it completely hardens. Since waiting is the hardest part, it's best to leave the cake in the refrigerator overnight.

Now you know how to make an anthill cake from cookies with condensed milk. The recipe with photo outlined above will help you do this perfectly. You can brew coffee or aromatic tea and invite everyone to the table.

Therefore, this important mission can be safely entrusted to younger family members!

The key to the excellent taste of such an Anthill is high-quality fresh products. First of all, you should pay attention to the butter. It should be as fresh and tasty as possible. Otherwise, a rancid taste may ruin the entire dessert. Cream must also meet these requirements.

Recipe 5: Lazy Anthill - no-bake cake

Today I will make an “Anthill” cake from cookies and cottage cheese. As the name suggests, this is not an ordinary “Anthill”; it contains a lot of cottage cheese, which is very useful for both children and adults. The cake turns out very tasty, tender and high in calories. It has a mild curd taste, and therefore it will be eaten with pleasure by those who do not like to eat cottage cheese just like that. Like all no-bake cakes, it is very easy and quick to prepare.

  • Dry cookies “Napoleon” – 300 g
  • Cottage cheese – 500 g
  • Condensed milk – 200 g
  • Butter – 200 g
  • Walnuts, coconut flakes (for decoration)

Break the dry cookies with your hands into small pieces of arbitrary shape.

Let's prepare the curd cream for the cake. Place butter and condensed milk in a deep bowl. The butter should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance.

Beat the butter with condensed milk with a whisk or mixer. The condensed milk for this cake is taken uncooked.

Grind the cottage cheese so that there are no grains.

Add cottage cheese to the cream in small portions and mix thoroughly. The cream should not be too thin or thick. If your cottage cheese was dry and the curd cream turned out thick, add a little condensed milk. Otherwise, the cake will not be soaked well and will turn out dry.

Pour the cookie pieces into the curd cream.

Mix everything thoroughly.

Place the resulting mass in a heap on a dish in the shape of an anthill. You can sprinkle white coconut shavings on top of the cake - you will get a winter “Anthill” under the snow. Or you can decorate it with chopped walnuts or grated chocolate. Then we put our cake in the refrigerator for several hours to soak it.

Have you tried making an anthill cake from cookies? If not, then you should definitely try it at least once. There are situations when there is no time to bake a cake for a long time, in which case this recipe will come in handy.

An anthill recipe is made from cookies and condensed milk, with the addition of butter. I also added poppy seeds and coconut flakes to it. If you want, add chopped nuts, but unfortunately I didn't have any this time.

And I decorate the anthill on top of the cake simply by sprinkling it with the remains of poppy seeds and shavings. Thus, an imitation of a real anthill is obtained. If you have unexpected guests or you don’t have enough time, then this is the best option for a quick cake. I advise you to do it.

Ingredients:

  • Shortbread cookies – 600 g
  • Butter – 200 g
  • Boiled condensed milk – 500 g
  • Poppy or poppy seed filling – 2 tbsp
  • Coconut flakes - to taste

How to make an anthill cake

As I said, the anthill recipe is simple and easy and can be done in half an hour. To begin, I pour poppy seeds or poppy seed filling into a bowl and add coconut flakes. Then I mix it well.

Now I crush the cookies in any convenient way. The fastest way to do this is in a blender, but this method is not very good because you need to grind it not completely into crumbs, but so that large pieces remain. That's why I do it in a mortar. You can also put the cookies into a bag and press them a couple of times with a rolling pin. Choose shortbread cookies and preferably not too sweet.

The pieces turned out to be both small and large, and this is what is needed to ensure that the anthill of cookies has the desired consistency.

Now I’m preparing the cream, it requires condensed milk and soft butter. I transfer them to the mixer bowl and start beating.

This takes literally a couple of minutes. The consistency will not be thick, but for such a cake, it is enough.

Then I pour the crushed cookies into the cream, add 2/3 of the poppy seeds with shavings.

I stir so that the cream mixes evenly with the rest of the mixture.

Next, I spread the resulting mass on a dish so that a hill is formed, similar to an anthill.

Sprinkle the remaining poppy seed mixture on top. You can also top it with a little chocolate glaze or melted chocolate. As you can see, the recipe for anthill with condensed milk at home is easy and quick.

In the end, the anthill cake made from cookies turned out very tasty, and what is important is that very little time was spent on preparation. It tastes like nut cookies with condensed milk. Due to the fact that the cream contains butter, it is not very sweet.

The recipe for anthill cake made from cookies without baking is simply excellent. Try it and see for yourself. Now it's time to brew tea or coffee and enjoy a delicious dessert. Bon appetit!

We don’t always have the opportunity to bake a cake in the oven or in a slow cooker. These familiar things may simply not be available, for example, at the dacha. But this is not a reason to go without sweets, and there is no need to run to the store for dessert either.

Even if you only have a pack of old dried cookies, you can still make a wonderful no-bake cake - “Anthill”. True, we will need another pack of butter, a little cocoa, milk and sugar. Chocolate and nuts are desirable ingredients, but not required.

The cake got its name because of its cone shape, which resembles an anthill. To prepare the Anthill cake without baking, we won’t have to work as hard as hard-working ants, and we will get no less pleasure than from the most exquisite cake.

Add cocoa and sugar to the milk and mix.

Cut the butter into large pieces and also add it to the cocoa mixture. Place on the fire and boil with constant stirring until the oil dissolves.

Well, while the mixture is cooking, you can have time to chop the cookies. You can do this by placing the cookies in a plastic bag and running a rolling pin over it.

Place the crushed pieces of cookies in a bowl and, if necessary, crush them with a masher. We don’t need to grind all the cookies into crumbs; large pieces should remain.

Fold the cookies into the chocolate mixture and leave a little for decoration.

Mix the mixture with a spoon. The consistency should be approximately the same as in the photo.

Well, let’s grind those cookies that we set aside into crumbs.

Line a deep bowl with cellophane. Lay out the mixture of cookies and cocoa.

Let's compact it.

Wrap and place in the freezer for 1-2 hours.

In the meantime, the mass hardens, prepare the chocolate for decoration. I grated it with a paring knife. I got wide strips of different sizes that immediately curled randomly. According to my plan, they should depict twigs and other building material that may end up in an anthill.

After the specified time, remove the cake from the freezer and remove it from the bowl, freeing it from the cellophane.

Sprinkle with cookie crumbs.

Then - chocolate chips.

Well, the Anthill cake without baking is ready. We place it in a forest clearing.

And this is what the cake looks like in cross section. A very tasty dessert for tea or coffee.
