The state professional educational budgetary institution of the Amur region “Amur College of Arts and Culture” is an educational institution that has its own individuality and a special creative atmosphere.

The College of Arts and Culture was formed by the merger of two educational institutions - Amur Regional College of Music and Amur Regional College of Culture - in August 2012.

The College of Arts and Culture, based on the priority directions of state policy in the field of art and culture of the Amur region, sets itself the following tasks: the revival and preservation of the traditional culture of the Amur region, improving the process of training specialists taking into account the requirements of the federal state educational standard of secondary vocational education, systematization and modernization scientific and methodological work that contributes to ensuring the quality and new level of training of specialists, the education of a socially active personality, ready to bear responsibility for solving professional problems, striving for self-improvement and self-education, and the growth of their professional skills.

In 2014, the state budgetary educational institution of additional professional education (advanced training) for specialists of the Amur region “Regional Educational and Methodological Center for Culture and Art” joined the college. Since then, the institution has been faced with the following tasks: implementation of additional educational programs in accordance with the license to conduct educational activities, coordination of the activities of educational institutions of culture and art in organizational, methodological and educational work, providing them with methodological assistance in organizing continuity and continuity of education, assistance in organizing the educational process in accordance with the level of modern requirements, taking into account and preserving the best traditions of aesthetic education in the region and countries.

On September 1, 2014, a center for professional training of personnel in the field of culture and art began operating on the basis of the college.

Today the college offers training in the following specialties:

“Library science”, “Pop music art”, “Folk artistic creativity”, “Socio-cultural activities”, “Performing arts”, “Choral conducting”, “Solo and choral folk singing”, “Vocal art”, “Music Theory” , “Pedagogy of additional education.”

Over the years of its activity, the Amur College of Arts and Culture has trained more than 10,000 graduates who work in the Amur region and beyond. It is the college graduates who today determine the strategy and tactics for the development of culture and art in the Amur region and the Far East.

Today the college is the basis of a regional educational complex in the field of art and culture, a center for training modern-minded musical, theatrical, choreographic performing and teaching personnel.

On September 2, the Amur College of Arts and Culture solemnly opened its doors to first-year students. A ceremonial ceremony dedicated to the Day of Knowledge was held at the college.

History of the Amur Regional College of Culture- one of the special and unique educational institutions of the Amur region dates back to 1962. The Amur Regional Cultural and Educational School was created with the aim of training personnel for clubs and libraries in the Amur region.

Over the fifty-three years of its existence, the educational institution has gone through a difficult path, solving complex problems and establishing bold achievements.

For more than half a century Amur Regional Cultural and Educational School,Amur Regional Cultural and Educational School, Amur Regional School of Culture, Amur Regional College of Culture, and now the Amur Regional College of Arts and Culture, fulfilled the most important mission - training professional personnel for workers and managers of cultural and art institutions, creative groups, and teachers.

Initially, in 1962, two branches were formed on the basis of the Amur Regional Cultural and Educational School - library and club. Classes were held in a small building with stove heating; a dormitory, sports and concert halls were rented. The first graduation of specialists from the cultural and educational school - a group of librarians consisting of 23 people - took place in 1964.

In any business, the main thing is people who are highly professional, dedicated to their favorite profession, creative and enthusiastic. A special place in this row is occupied by Boris Vasilyevich Prozorov, the first director who headed the educational institution in 1962. The first head teacher was Valentina Ivanovna Alexandrova.

In 1964, the cultural and educational school already recruited three groups of students for departments - library, bookselling, club and theater.

Veteran teachers of the educational institution made a huge contribution to the formation of the team and the training of the first generation of graduates: V.I. Koreneva, E.M. Khtema, A.Yu. In 1964, on the basis of the cultural and educational school, a theater specialization was opened, which produced leaders of amateur theater groups, and two years later, at the club department of the Amur Regional Cultural and Educational School, the following were opened:

  • orchestral specialization (in 1969 the first graduation of club workers and orchestra leaders took place);
  • choral specialization (in 1968, the first graduation of specialists with the qualification “leader of an amateur choir group”) took place.

At the same time, a correspondence department began its work on the basis of the school, which at different times was headed by: N.A. Maryina, A.Yu. Glushko, G.F Bondarenko, S.N. Dimova, E.A. Kozhevnikova.

1967 - the first and only graduation of specialists who studied at the bookselling department in the specialty "Book Merchandiser" with the qualification of the same name.

Since 1971, the training of choreographers began within the walls of the cultural and educational school. The first teachers of this specialization were L.N. Stein, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation S.S. Rudnev, V.S. Popov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation V.A. Vidyakin.

1991 - graduates are trained in the specialization "Folk Choral Creativity". In the same year, on the basis of folk choral specialization, the student folk choral ensemble "Razgulay" and the children's folk choral group "Bell" were created.

1994 - the children's theater studio "Come to us!" opens. In 2001, the children's studio team was awarded the title "People's".

History of the Amur Regional Music College has a glorious history since May 10, 1960.

The urgent need for qualified personnel has turned the training of young musicians into a task of great importance for the Amur region. Its decision was entrusted to the teaching staff of the educational institution, designed to become the main center of professional music education in the Amur region.

The teachers of the educational institution made a huge contribution to the formation of the team and the training of the first generation of graduates: V.I.Vulkin, V.P.Samoletov, Yu.P.Petrov, Yu.V.Ukhov, V.P.Gusakov, S.I.Kuklina, R.I.Solodkova. They laid the glorious traditions of the educational and creative activities of the music school.

The first director of the school was Mikhail Ilyich Zaslavsky.

At first, five departments were opened at the school: piano, conducting and choral, theoretical, vocal and folk instruments.

With the arrival of the Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation to the college N.A. Loshmanova A department of wind and percussion instruments was opened on the basis of the college, and a correspondence course appeared. An active influx of teaching staff from the Saratov, Novosibirsk, and Gorky conservatories begins.

From the first years of the school's existence, much attention was paid to the development of creative teams. The chamber orchestra was created in 1994. The first leader of the team was L.B.Izrailov. Orchestra of folk instruments, first director V.I. Gora. From 1991 to the present, the orchestra has been led by Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Excellence in Public Education A.V. Getman. The Orchestra of Bayanists and Accordionists, an ensemble of folk instruments, created in 1969, whose director was Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation N.P. Voronin. The academic choir was created simultaneously with the opening of the conducting and choral department in 1960, the director of which was G.A. Ponomarenko, accompanist O.I. Borodko, today the academic choir is headed by the young teacher N.S. Krapivina. The pop orchestra, created in 2007 under the direction of A.I. Khopatko, continues its active creative work today under the leadership of the young teacher A.E. Yaroshevich.

Successful educational, scientific, methodological and concert-educational activities of teachers and students allowed the Amur Regional Music College to become a real center of musical culture in Blagoveshchensk and one of the leading music educational institutions in the Far East.
